Message from the President
Our journey began by simply listening to the earnest desire to take action that we heard on the ground.
From babies rolling over for the first time, to athletes competing in a game, to those who say, "I don't want to cause any trouble."
From those who work hard at rehabilitation to family caregivers who support their bodies so they can move...
Although we are from different generations and situations, as we continue to face these feelings, we have come to one certainty.
It was a simple fact: "When your feet change, the way your whole body moves changes."
As people age, and due to injuries or changes in posture, they often unconsciously put pressure on the outside of their feet and brace themselves, stiffening their bodies.
Rather than "adding" more power to the situation, we wondered if we could start by "relaxing" the tension.
It's a reverse idea of "relaxing first and then adjusting."
What we want to protect is the natural desire that everyone has: to be able to take action on their own.
The small thought that "I can still do it" will surely give you hope for tomorrow.
With this belief in mind, we will continue to support you and your loved ones from the ground up, ensuring that you have time to move around.
The development history of "Rakushita®"
How did we arrive at the product known as "socks"?
Behind this lies a story of painstaking observation and discovery on the ground.
1. Identifying the problem
I realized that many people have fallen into the habit of unconsciously bracing themselves with the outside of their foot, a habit that comes from long-standing habits and aging.
2. The Core of the Problem
This habit stiffens your ankles.
As a result, the baby begins to roll over and walk, a very natural and small trigger.
It became difficult to feel the "rolling of the ankle," which acted as a brake that hindered the movement of the entire body.
3. Solution Ideation
So we wondered if we could support the "relaxation" of unnecessary tension, rather than adding force. The most natural way to achieve this, and one that would provide a comfortable, everyday experience, was through socks that are worn every day.
4. Product Birth
This is how "Negari Rakushita®" was born, focusing on the ease of rolling over, especially at night, and supporting natural movements from the feet up while sleeping.
